Job Summary:
Lúnasa is looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our team and help develop precise, and adaptive robotic systems. We own an in-house robotic dark room test facility with state-of-the-art technologies, which is used to test in-orbit satellite servicing mission scenarios. If you have hands-on experience with robotic arms, we want to hear from you!
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Develop, test, and deploy motion planning and control algorithms using ROS and MoveIt
2. Integrate and operate collaborative robotic arms (UR16e, UR30, etc.) for space-related applications
3. Perform reference frame transformations, calibration, and kinematic modeling
4. Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure smooth integration and real-time performance
5. Debug robotic issues, from joint-space motion to Cartesian trajectory planning
6. Strong hands-on experience with Universal Robots or similar industrial/collaborative arms
7. Proficiency with ROS and MoveIt
8. Solid grasp of linear algebra, quaternions, and transforms
9. Strong coding skills in Python
10. Experience with Gazebo, RViz, or other simulation tools
