About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Secretary to join our clients busy legal practice in Dungannon. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations within the firm. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and legal executives. Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Manage client files, including electronic and paper filing systems. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls, and emails in a professional manner. Schedule and manage appointments, court dates, and client meetings. Liaise with clients, courts, and external agencies when required. Assist with billing, time recording, and file management. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and firm policies. Essential Criteria Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment. Strong typing and audio transcription skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy office Desirable Criteria Experience in areas such as conveyancing, litigation, or family law.
