Working as part of the Arch Group Credit Control Team the Senior Credit Control Analyst will have responsibility for the integration of a workstream though alignment to the wider Group Credit Control operations.
Considerations will include BAU Credit Control and Cash handling, downstream reporting and financial statutory and regulatory requirements.
The Senior Credit Control Analyst will also be able to identify process efficiencies, conduct root cause analysis and reconcile financial data for statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
 1. Analyse and document "As Is" and "To Be" processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and streamlining workflows
 2. Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical solutions.
 3. Perform root cause analysis on issues with recommendations for solutions.
 4. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams and IT, managing expectations across all levels.
 5. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences addressing any issues raised.
 6. Support user acceptance testing (UAT), provide input for test plans and co-ordinate with UAT to ensure that final solutions meet user needs.
 7. Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiencies and take ownership to drive and deliver improvements.
 8. Assist the presentation of the reconciliation results to entity controllers for their review and sign-off.
 9. Provide recommendation of improvements in process or journals that should be considered by entity owners.
 10. Ensure compliance with the finance SOX and management controls.
 11. Mentor and guide for best practices, methodologies, and templates.
Role Requirements & Skills
 12. Ability to perform root cause analysis and translate complex requirements into functional solutions
 13. A solid understanding of business analysis techniques, tools, and standards.
 14. The ability to confidently communicate and present to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
 15. Experience in leading workshops and mentoring junior team members.
 16. A genuine interest in business, understanding of business structure, and ability to think commercially.
 17. Experience in a variety of projects across Finance, and the ability to learn quickly.
 18. Experience of working within a finance team/insurance.
 19. Effective interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to function in a team environment.
