An established and progressive independent accountancy firm in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into a mixed accounts and audit role, offering real variety, client exposure, and a clear route into leadership.
This is a position suited to someone who enjoys working across both disciplines, not purely accounts, and wants to build broader experience within a supportive practice environment.

The Role
You will work closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, with responsibilities including:
* Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
* Personal and corporate tax compliance
* Supporting audit assignments alongside senior team members
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships
* Supporting and developing junior team members
* Gradually taking ownership of your own portfolio
About You
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience considered)
* Background within accountancy practice
* Experience across both accounts and audit is highly beneficial
* Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
* Keen to progress and take on more responsibility over time
