Transducer Engineer

What you’ll do
* Define and maintain acoustic quality standards for new and existing transducer products
* Support production teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality manufacturing
* Validate acoustic performance through the full product lifecycle
* Shape acoustic requirements during early‑stage design and new product introduction
* Lead investigations into acoustic performance issues and drive corrective actions
* Develop continuous improvement strategies to enhance acoustic consistency
* Collaborate with international teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders
What you’ll need
* Experience in underwater acoustics, transducer performance or acoustic quality control
* Strong understanding of acoustic theory and signal processing
* Ability to analyse and interpret acoustic test data
* Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
* Degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar + 5 years' relevant experience
Desirable
* Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement
* Practical prototype assembly or mechanical engineering experience
* Ability to develop lab tools or software
* Willingness to travel occasionally internationally
