JOB OVERVIEW Responsible for supply chain activities at the site including Purchasing, Supply and Warehouse. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all supply chain plans, processes and systems functions. Responsible for running a safe process, processing materials and ensuring policies and processes are followed. Manages ERP for the site interacting regularly with Production. Works with the global purchasing, supply and warehouse teams to ensure cross site alignment and close co-ordination. Responsible for managing the KPIs toc achieve high functioning and reliable supply chain at the site; ensures accurate stock accounts; stock disposition; procurement and materials planning. Works closely with the local Research and Development, Engineering and Production departments. KEY INTERACTIONS With Purchasing, Supply, Warehouse and Quality Managers. With production, planning, Research and development. Freight companies and suppliers. Global warehouses in the company. LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS Manages the Strategic Plan relating to organisational objectives. Responsible for implementing organisational goals and objectives into department-level goals and KPIs. Sets Leadership goals and KPIs. Responsible for Department-Level people priorities and initiatives. Reports on progress of people initiatives. Advises on policy and monitors policy. Accountable for the department’s people plans, KPIs and budgets. Guides Management on organisations expectations. Accountable for identifying and addressing gaps. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A relevant Engineering Degree. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Excel and IT skills and knowledge, particularly with Microsoft. Experience with a materials tracking system. Experience of MS D365 or Navision / Axapta or similar. Excellent people management and interpersonal skills. Communication skills. Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures. A good understanding of the business. Process and results oriented. Fluent in English, German a necessity and Danish an advantage. Work in a systematic and structured, detail-oriented way. Able to prioritise. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least 4 years of experience from a logistics management function with direct employee responsibility. Logistics management experience from a design and manufacturing business. Purchasing experience would be beneficial. Experience working in a global context. Experience of a dynamic and hectic work environment TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS up to 20% annually, potentially globally.
