Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
* Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using IT systems.
* Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
* Stay updated on dental practices and procedures through continuous professional development.
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
* If not Qualified - training can be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
* Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team setting.
