A thriving, independent ambulatory equine practice is seeking a passionate Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team as they enter their second year! You’ll be working alongside the practice owner/vet, a nurse, and a practice manager, as well as a trusted network of osteopaths, physiotherapists, farriers, and trainers. Together, they create tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans that achieve meaningful, real-world outcomes. This practice is known for its warm, client-focused approach, where kindness, empathy, and dedication shape every patient journey. Caseload & Clinical Focus Enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload with particular emphasis on: • Lameness • Poor performance • Rehabilitation You’ll be fully equipped with a top-of-the-range, fully kitted-out ambulance. Applicants with interests in the following areas are strong encouraged to apply: • Physiotherapy / chiropractic / osteopathic work • Reproduction • Dentistry Work-Life Balance & Rota • Full-time: 4 days per week (8:30am – 6:00pm) • Part-time applications welcome • 1 in 2 weekend on-call with time off in lieu (Friday off the week after) • Extra locum support every six weekends • Time off in lieu: Friday off following a worked weekend (if called in) The practice uses Equicomms to triage out-of-hours calls—filtering non-emergencies and reducing workload. No extra phone required, and remote support is always available.
