The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning Work with small groups to reinforce learning in English and Maths Provide targeted intervention support where required Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values Support pupils with additional needs, adapting approaches where necessary The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working within a primary school setting An enhanced Child DBS (or be willing to apply for one) A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, nurturing and proactive approach Confidence supporting children across different year groups A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or a motivated individual looking to build their career within primary education.
