A well-established architectural practice in Birmingham is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing team. With a studio of around 45 professionals, the practice delivers innovative design solutions across a broad range of sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, residential, education, and healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part 2 Assistant with 2-3 years of industry experience to take the next step in their career. You'll be working on diverse UK projects, contributing to both design and technical stages, and receiving full support through your Part 3 qualification. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors Produce high-quality drawings, visuals, and technical documentation Collaborate with architects, technologists, and consultants throughout all RIBA stages Attend site visits and client meetings to support project development Contribute to planning applications and building regulation submissions Engage in design reviews and team discussions Candidate Requirements Part 2 qualified with 2-3 years of UK practice experience Strong design portfolio showcasing creative and technical ability Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite Good understanding of UK building regulations and planning processes Excellent communication and organisational skills Eagerness to progress toward Part 3 qualification with mentorship and support What's on Offer Salary in the region of £28,000-£32,000, depending on experience Hybrid working available after a 6-month probation period Support through Part 3 course and qualification Collaborative studio culture with regular CPD and career development Exposure to a wide range of project types and scales This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected Birmingham-based practice known for its thoughtful design, technical excellence, and supportive team environment.
