Arkay Windows is a specialist large-scale fabricator with over 50 years experience based in North London, Watford. Through growth built on putting our customers first, we have risen to supply some of the country's biggest retail companies, contractors and commercial installers.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Order Processor to join our dynamic team and to build a long-term career with a company that really does value their employees and become part of its ongoing success. This role will be based at our Watford site.
The suitable Order Processor will have previous experience working within the fenestration industry producing quotations for trade, residential or commercial projects from bill of quantities and technical drawings. It is highly desired that the Order Processor has experience using a pricing software such as Logikal. Please note that training will be given.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Roles and responsibilities
* prepare accurate estimates and order process of aluminium windows and doors and bi folding doors
* analyse original enquiry, identify customer requirements and compare it with the quote, ensuring the quote is as per customer requirements
* liaise with Estimators on any obvious queries to ensuring all discrepancies are ironed out.
* ensure any modifications requested by customers are carried out before the production Scheduled date
* confirm order with customers on any missing information and amend order documents
* ensure jobs processed on time, after sign-off has been received from the Customer
* assign Lead time to an Order, based on Quantity, Colour & System
* follow up customer queries on any amendments made and rectify accordingly
* check emails and respond of previous processed jobs if any
* Receive and review new jobs for the day from estimator
* enter job numbers in JTS & shared excel list – commonly used by MSBC and Arkay Windows
* check, quotes against original enquiry and Logikal Processing and send 'Order Confirmation'
* print off order confirmation and forward the job pile to purchasing & fabrication
* export profiles, accessories, save glass & panels sizes & export CNC for manufacturing
