Senior Business Development Manager – Aerospace
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our Aerospace sector as part of the broader Future Mobility activity, focusing on direct industrial projects and collaborative research & development initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth across Aerospace and the wider Future Mobility sector.
* Identify opportunities within existing accounts and new markets to create mutual value.
* Understand customers’ technological and strategic roadmaps, needs, and requirements.
* Develop and maintain strategic/key account plans.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver world‑class outcomes.
* Generate leads, manage pipeline, and report from opportunity identification to closing.
Qualifications
* Consultative, solution‑based selling approach with a proven track record in Aerospace.
* Commercially driven with ability to navigate complex environments and deliver results.
* Strong network within the Aerospace industry, engaged at senior levels.
* Proven track record of building and closing multi‑million‑pound sales pipelines.
* Excellent written communication skills, especially in developing compelling proposals.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
* Ability to engage credibly with technical stakeholders and understand engineering concepts.
* Proactive, agile mindset with a passion for innovation and transformation.
Desirable Experience
* Experience with Miller–Heiman or structured sales methodologies.
* Understanding of engineering, manufacturing or change management challenges.
* Degree in Business or Engineering (MBA a plus).
* Experience working in R&D or innovation‑led environments.
* Experience working across public and private sector partnerships.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
