We are now looking for a motivated and organised New Business Account Handler to join our growing Sales Team.
About the Role
As a New Business Account Handler, you will play a key role in supporting our Account Executives with the processing and conversion of new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their insurance career who enjoys administration, client contact, and working in a fast‑paced commercial environment.
You will work closely with the Sales Team to gather information, prepare documentation, liaise with insurers, manage client queries, and ensure all new business activities are completed accurately and compliantly. Your work will directly support our Account Executives in generating and winning new opportunities, ensuring prospects receive a seamless and professional service.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to Account Executives on new business cases
* Liaising with insurers to obtain quotes, request additional information and follow up queries
* Assisting with new business processing, including premium finance and policy documentation
* Maintaining accurate digital client records Acturis, in line with FCA and company standards
* Handling routine client enquiries and delivering exceptional customer service
* Supporting a professional, efficient and client‑focused office environment
* Building positive working relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters
* Participating in ongoing training and development through the firm's T&C scheme
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* A desire to learn and develop within the insurance industry
Desirable
* Experience in commercial insurance or working in a brokerage
* Familiarity with Acturis
* Cert CII or willingness to study towards it
