About the role
We are seeking an experienced Secondary School Cover Supervisor to work in schools in the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources, following the school's policies and procedures.
* Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
* Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues arising during the lesson.
* Support the overall ethos and objectives of the school.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Secondary School Cover Supervisor you will:
* A natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher
* A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS check registered to the update service.
* Referenceable experience working with children.
