Department
The School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences was formed in August 2017 and offers provision relating to physiotherapy, sports therapy, sports and exercise sciences and sports performance and coaching. It is also home to the Human Performance Unit.
Duties of the Role
The role of a technician will be to support the running of the laboratories in the School, providing support to staff and students using the facilities and actively managing the equipment located within the laboratories. This post will provide additional term-time support for our technician team.
The successful applicant will be required to work full-time (36 hours per week) for 31.3 weeks of the year, to include the Autumn Term (September/October to December) and the Spring Term (January to March/April).
Skills and qualifications required
We are looking for someone with good technical acumen along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in basic Health and Safety management of a designated work area and proficient in the use of IT are essential.
