Role Overview
The team provides generic nursing care to children with short and long-term conditions within their homes and the wider community. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of safeguarding, a broad range of clinical paediatric nursing skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
The candidate should be capable of educating patients, parents/carers, professionals, and other agencies about various healthcare conditions. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for managing your own caseload and overseeing others, including delegation of referrals or tasks.
You will need to collaborate with healthcare professionals, NHS providers, and other statutory and voluntary agencies. Although the current working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday, flexibility during the week is expected to meet patient needs. A car owner/driver is essential.
Working Pattern: 0900-1700, Monday - Friday
