Senior Financial Accounting Lead
Yorkshire (Hybrid)
12 months FTC
£70K-£90K + Package / £500-£600 per day
Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for technical accounting and external reporting? We're looking for a seasoned expert to lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and drive best practice reporting across a complex, multi-entity group.
In this pivotal role, you'll:

* Oversee year-end and half-year group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
\t
* Act as the go-to technical accounting advisor for new standards and business initiatives.
\t
* Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
\t
* Own group accounting policies and contribute to key Board and Audit Committee papers.
\t
* Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls.
What we're looking for:
\t
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
\t
* Strong IFRS expertise and proven ability to manage audits end-to-end.
\t
* Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
\t
* Background in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is highly desirable.
