Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2 - Floorwalker.
Job Overview: To act as an on-site and virtual guide during the transition from Zoom to Microsoft Teams, helping colleagues understand new features, adopt best practices, and feel confident using Teams for collaboration and meetings.Location: Greenock PA15 1EDRate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.90 (PAYE) OR £19.34 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).Contract Length: 8 April 2026 - 12th May 2026(Note:1 day Paid Online Induction to take place either 1st or 2nd April - Work to begin onsite 8TH April.)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00 - 17:30)Key Responsibilities:* Be proactive with a visible and approachable presence to answer how to questions (not technical troubleshooting)* Deliver demos via Microsoft Teams both in person and for remote colleagues using pre-defined scripts and presentation decks* Explain differences between Zoom and Teams (meeting setup, chat, collaboration tools)* Share tips and best practices for effective use of Teams* Encourage engagement and confidence in using Teams for daily work* Record all assistance provided to colleaguesKey Requirements:*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams features and functionality*Ability to communicate clearly and educate users in a friendly, non-technical way*Familiarity with Zoom to explain migration differences*Comfortable presenting and engaging with both in person and remote audiences via Teams*Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skillsQualities*Supportive, patient, and approachable*Positive attitude toward change and adoption*Collaborative and proactive in engaging colleaguesAdditional Information:Interview Process: In Person / Teams/TelephonicHow to Apply:If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
