Home Manager – Henderson House Care Home
Henderson House Care Home is a well established care home in Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. The home offers a welcoming, homely atmosphere where staff can feel supported, valued and confident in delivering high quality care within a stable and well‑run environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the home’s improvement plan, reinforce robust clinical governance and embed consistent, person‑centred standards of care.
* Provide visible, hands‑on leadership that promotes high standards, open communication and clear expectations.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders, regulatory bodies and the local community to maintain and improve care quality.
* Manage budgets, monitor occupancy and implement commercial strategies to enhance financial performance.
* Support the recruitment, development and retention of a dedicated team of care staff.
Qualifications & Experience
* Credible and resilient leader who can inspire confidence and bring people together.
* Proven success leading a care home through improvement or development.
* Experience managing a service of 40+ beds with nursing and dementia provision.
* Strong stakeholder and regulatory engagement skills.
* Commercial awareness, with a track record of building occupancy and managing budgets.
* Registered Nurse (NMC) desirable, but not essential for candidates with strong leadership and turnaround experience.
* Integrity, presence and authenticity are essential; local knowledge is beneficial but not required.
