Head of Research Governance, Integrity and Compliance – University of East Anglia
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Research Governance, Integrity and Compliance to join the Research and Innovation Service (RIN) to lead the development, implementation and oversight of research governance, integrity and compliance frameworks within the University in support of research and innovation activities. This role ensures that all research and innovation activities comply with regulatory requirements, ethical standards and University policies.
Salary and Benefits
This range is provided by University of East Anglia. Starting salary from £48,822 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £56,535 per annum. Further information on our benefits package, including 44 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and additional University Customary days (pro rata for part-time), can be found on our benefits page. Responsibilities
* Lead development, implementation and oversight of research governance, integrity and compliance frameworks within the University.
* Ensure that all research and innovation activities comply with regulatory requirements, ethical standards and University policies.
* Stay abreast of the national research culture landscape, advising the University on funder, regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Act as the University’s administrative lead for any research misconduct investigations.
* Maintain the highest standards of research integrity and compliance, working with stakeholders on relevant issues.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant field such as law, ethics or a scientific discipline.
* Extensive experience in research governance, integrity, compliance or a related field.
* Ability to produce accurate and effective reports for management, audit and risk assessment in a timely manner.
* Ability to work well under pressure, manage a concurrent workload, respond to shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
