Job Summary:
The Restaurant Supervisor supports the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food, service, health and safety, and customer satisfaction. They assist in managing staff, handling customer concerns, and ensuring smooth shift operations.
Salary: Competitive salary + 15% service charge
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts to ensure excellent customer service.
* Coordinate daily restaurant operations and delegate tasks to team members.
* Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
* Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day
reporting.
* Train, motivate, and support team members to maintain performance standards.
* Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently.
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
* Assist in scheduling shifts and managing attendance or staffing concerns.
* Support in implementing promotions, upselling, and driving sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality supervisory role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and customer service best practices.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Basic computer skill s and familiarity with POS systems.
