A dedicated consultant as an additional layer of supportWe are recruiting for a methodical and thorough Accountant to join a well-established team based in Honiton, on a temporary basis, starting immediately for a minimum of 6 - 8 weeks. You will provide a variety of duties to ensure smooth running of the department throughout a busy period. Ideally you would have experience using Xero or similar accounting software experience to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file self-assessment tax returns, particularly for clients with rental portfolios, sole trader businesses, and individuals earning over £100,000
Support the preparation and completion of limited company year-end accounts
Ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation using Xero accounting software. Please note, Xero is our filing software.
Liaise with team members as required while working with autonomy and efficiencyRequirements:
Proven experience in a bookkeeping role
Well-organised and process driven
Experience within practice would be highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
