With over 20 years of experience running successful Active Camps for children aged 4-14 years, we are now recruiting summer staff to join our teams in Oxford, Witney, Banbury, and Rugby.

We are looking for Activity Leaders who will provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children to relax, play, and learn. Your role will be to ensure that the highest standards are met and that children have a positive experience at the camp.

Dates: May Half Term 24-30 May 2025; Summer Holidays 12 July - 29 August 2025
You don't need to be available for the whole summer; ideally, you will work for 3-5 weeks.
Hours: 8.15 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday
Rates of pay: £106.50 to £130 per day for Activity Leaders
Key Duties:
* Work as part of a team to devise and deliver a range of engaging and challenging activities for children aged 4-14 years. Our activities include arts and crafts, cooking, swimming, sports, games, and special activities like bouncy castles and archery.
* Follow signing in/out procedures to ensure the safe arrival and departure of children.
* Supervise snack and lunch times.
* Keep children safe by following the camp’s policies and procedures, especially regarding Safeguarding.
* Maintain cleanliness of premises and care of play and sports equipment.
Ideally, you will:
* Have at least six months of experience working or volunteering with children aged 4-14 in a play or school environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively with children and at all levels.
* Be enthusiastic, flexible, and positive.
* Use your initiative and work well as part of a team.
* Be willing to undertake relevant training.
