We are searching for an experienced Principal Consultant - Financial Services.

Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

As a Principal Consultant within financial services, you will support the client management team in delivering internal audit and wider risk assurance services to a portfolio of financial services clients. The role involves travel within the UK.
You will promote the RSM brand, uphold high ethical standards, and ensure quality service delivery.
You will make an impact by:
* Demonstrating skills in delivering quality assurance reviews, internal audits, and summaries.
* Assisting in business development, including tender presentations, client visits, and networking.
* Overseeing client work as part of the engagement team, recognized as an RSM Principal Consultant.

* Financial experience managing internal audit contracts and reviews within budgets.

* Previous experience in a financial services environment.
* Good technical knowledge of internal audit processes and sector issues.
* Ability to review and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Understanding of additional services the firm can offer.
* Proactive training and development management.
