CNC NX Robotics Programmer – 6-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced NX Robotics Programmer to support the programming, validation, and on-site testing of Fanuc robotic systems for a specialist part-cleaning project using 500 dry media grit blast technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop robotic programs for Fanuc-based shop automation systems using the Siemens NX offline programming environment.
2. Validate robotic motion programs in NX, Roboguide, and directly on the robotic systems.
3. Travel to MRO sites to operate and test robotic systems in real-world conditions.
4. Configure and maintain the robot programming environment within Siemens NX.
5. Assist in building and maintaining a robot program management infrastructure.
6. Deliver training and support to relevant team members as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience
7. Proven expertise in Siemens NX, particularly in robotic offline programming.
8. Hands-on experience with Fanuc industrial robots (R-30iB) and Roboguide.
9. Strong ability to interpret and apply technical drawing requirements.
Additional Information
10. This is a 6-month contract position.
11. Ad-hoc travel to Cardiff and Prestwick will be required.
12. Occasional overseas travel may also be necessary; all travel expenses will be fully covered.
