An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Engineer - Electrical Systems to join our Engineering department.
About the role
Lead the development of defined technical areas or subsystems within a programme, providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior engineers.
What you will do
* Own delivery of significant work packages or subsystems within a project.
* Develop and validate engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Mentor and support Engineers within the team.
* Lead problem-solving and root-cause investigations.
* Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration and coherence.
* Provide input to project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
* Develop schematics as well as system, network and harness drawings and IO documents
* Function development for control systems
* Create manufacturing packs and test procedures; support factory/site acceptance tests.
About you
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) engineer with adequate experience.
* Proven experience in system or component-level design.
* Experience in CAN and Ethernet communication and related tools.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Working knowledge of configuration, safety, and quality systems.
* Experience in leading small teams or technical tasks.
