Who we're working with?
We are working with a leading M&E contractor, specialising in large scale design and build residential, student accommodation and hotel projects across the UK. In addition their specialist housing division focuses solely on plumbing, heating and electrical contracts for local and national housebuilders and additional service packages for new homeowners. They undertake projects and packages of anything up to £50 million, but can also take on smaller technical projects of £1-3 million too.
They encompass a range of specialist skills in consulting, design, engineering, installation, commissioning and maintenance on residential/hotel/accomodation developments across the UK.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with experience of managing a portfolio of M&E installation projects, preferably within a Residential Development/Hotel/Student Accomodation background. While the ability to lead small teams is important, we are ideally looking for someone who is technically adept and has in depth knowledge of Building Services design over many years.
While our client utilise leading BIM consultancies, you will still need to demonstrate a working knowledge of M&E technical design, as you work collaboratively with internal M&E design teams and coordinators.
Perhaps the biggest tool you will need is a forward looking approach to problem solving. You will be tasked with using Design/Project Management/Commercial skills, in tandem with the team, to find cost effective solutions that provide the client/end user with a top quality M&E package, within budget and time frame.
