Quantity Surveyor Our client, a prominent player in the power utilities and construction sectors, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in a permanent capacity. The role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of utilities projects, underpinning the financial and contractual management of various endeavours. Key Responsibilities: Managing and overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying duties Preparing and presenting cost reports and financial summaries Negotiating contracts and terms with clients and subcontractors Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies Liaising with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control Monitoring project progress and reporting any variations or discrepancies Contributing to the continuous improvement of quantity surveying practices Job Requirements: Significant experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the power utilities or construction sectors NEC Contract experience Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration Proficiency in using relevant surveying software and tools Exceptional negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Professional membership or certification is an advantage Benefits: Paying between £55,000-£65,000 per annum Office Based, flexibility with start and finish times Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Private Healthcare Company car or Car allowance Pension contribution In house perks Clear pathways for career progression Professional development and training opportunities Collaborative and supportive work environment If you are a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career to the next level within the power utilities and construction sectors, we would love to hear from you.
