Housekeeping Assistant required for a long-running and well established 52-bedroom, 4-star, country house hotel in the spectacular mid Wales countryside.
* Live-in accommodation available for those willing to relocate. A housekeeping couple (one housekeeping and one front / back of house) can also be accommodated in a private room.
Our exceptional housekeeping team has a vacancy for an energetic and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant. Our housekeepers proudly deliver high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel's public areas and our beautiful guest accommodation.
Please note although useful, we are not looking for any previous experience for this role as full training will be given.
General Duties:
· Ensure cleanliness of public areas
· Cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms
· Vacuum rooms and corridors
· Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities
· Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
· Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis
· Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
· Report any damage, deterioration or items that require technical maintenance in accordance with the Hotel's Health & Safety policy
· Retrieve and report lost property items found in accommodation after guests departure, making sure they are logged according to the department procedures
· Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Hours of work:
Our full time housekeepers typically work approximately 30-35 hours per week, with start times from 8am, five days out of seven (including weekends and bank holidays) as part of a flexible rota
We are also happy to consider applications from those who wish to work part time – flexible hours available.

If required we offer a good standard of shared live-in accommodation, on-site charged at £62 p.w., per person, including all meals on and off dut.
