Robert Half Technology are assisting a large, market-leading fashion brand to recruit a Power BI Developer on a contract basis. Hybrid working - London based.
Role
* The Power BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making across the business.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, finance, e-commerce, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
* Collect, model, and prepare datasets from various systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
* Develop and optimise Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and visualisations.
* Implement best practices for data governance, report performance, and workspace management.
* Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure efficient data flows and reliable reporting structures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve reporting or data model issues swiftly and effectively.
* Stay up to date with new Power BI features and broader BI trends to continually enhance reporting capability across the organisation.
Profile
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role.
* Strong commercial experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design.
* Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with relational and cloud-based data sources.
* Familiarity with Azure tooling such as Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks beneficial.
* Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
