Overall Purpose of the Role:
To provide administrative support and advice to HR and operating teams on TUPE gains and losses. The role supports the management / HR team within our operating companies.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Providing administrative support to 9,000 units and 4,500 Management Employees in relation to contract mobilisations and demobilisations, in line with existing internal procedures
Ensure that all administrative legal obligations are adhered to and excellent customer service is given
Communication via email and letter correspondence and via telephone with various levels of management and external parties
Ensuring all transferring employees are paid correctly and on time
Use of payroll system to run reports for tenders and due diligence
Prioritising workload to meet payroll deadlines, TUPE Regulations and achieve SLA's, by planning ahead
Essential Criteria:
High level of diligence and attention to detail
Team Worker – working in a team of TUPE Officers
Self-starter / self-motivated to finding ways to improve team and own personal efficiencies
Resilient to changes in a fast pace working environment
Excellent communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels, both with internal and external customers
Experience in working with Microsoft Outlook and various Microsoft Office programmes
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in providing HR administrative support
Broad knowledge of employment law would be useful and specific knowledge of legislation covering TUPE would be desirable
