Your Role
Post: Highly Specialist (Band 7) Occupational Therapist
Service Line: Mental Health Forensic (Low and Medium Secure Services)
Base: Hudson Hospital – Cygnet Bury, Greater Manchester
Salary: Starting from £48,222 p/a (DOE) + £3000 relocation package!
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for assessing and treating occupational dysfunction for 13 service users on a medium secure forensic ward, specializing in care and treatment of individuals with personality disorders and mental illnesses. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each service user in developing skills and progressing through our clinical care model from admission to discharge.
Leadership: You will report directly to the Head Occupational Therapist at Hudson Hospital, Cygnet Bury, within the Secure Service line. You will hold delegated leadership and management responsibilities for the Occupational Therapy service, provide clinical supervision for junior qualified occupational therapists and assistants, and contribute to hospital-wide OT provision across six wards. You may also deputize for the Head Occupational Therapist when needed.
