As you grow within the role, you’ll take on greater autonomy, increased responsibility, and wider market influence – with each level offering clear progression in both scope and earning potential. Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations Junior Account Director You’re building your strategic sales skills and growing in confidence with client relationships. In this role, you’ll: Work towards 6 apprenticeship starts per month Proactively generate leads through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking Support in managing accounts and spotting upsell opportunities Contribute to proposal development and tender responses Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences Build your presence in the sector through networking events Account Director You’re experienced in managing a portfolio and delivering results. You’ll take full ownership of accounts and drive new business growth. In this role, you’ll: Aim for 7 apprenticeship starts per month Build tailored acquisition strategies based on market research and insight Manage a pipeline of prospects and strategic clients Create compelling proposals and support tender writing Partner with internal teams (recruitment, marketing, operations) to co-create impactful solutions Represent Baltic at sector events and client meetings Senior Account Director You’re a strategic leader and trusted advisor to high-value clients. You’ll shape Baltic’s presence in your sector and influence internally across teams. In this role, you’ll: Target 9 apprenticeship starts per month Lead complex, senior-level client relationships with a long-term focus Design and implement sophisticated go-to-market strategies Write and lead tenders for opportunities of up to 5 starts Use performance data and market intelligence to guide commercial decisions Act as a brand ambassador at events, panels, and industry forums Influence internal product and delivery teams based on client feedback and market shifts Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience Proven success in strategic account management within apprenticeships, training, or a related service-led B2B environment A consultative, insight-led sales approach Experience in writing tenders or bids and navigating procurement frameworks Capable of approving qualified apprenticeship vacancies without regular support or quality checks, maintaining low withdrawal rates and high learner retention rates Maintains a high level of quality by establishing and enforcing Baltic Apprenticeship standards, following processes and meeting company expectations Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in internal training, reviewing professional publications and other content, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking best practices Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Commercial acumen with the ability to translate client needs into sustainable, revenue-generating solutions Highly self-motivated, outcome-driven, and resilient in a dynamic market environment A credible, engaging, and empowering ambassador for Baltic’s mission and values Our Benefits At Baltic, we’re committed to creating an environment where you can thrive – professionally, personally, and socially.
