The role
Who You Are We are seeking qualified social workers who are appropriately skilled and experienced in fostering assessments. You should have at least 3 years of experience, with previous involvement in fostering including Form F and Connected Person's Assessments. It is essential that you are registered with Social Care Wales and live within a 40-mile radius of Cardiff. What the Job Involves Your role will involve conducting Form F and Connected Person’s Assessments for prospective foster or kinship carers. You will be required to complete assessments and prepare individuals for their journey to fostering, attending panels held on Wednesdays to present your assessments. The position demands face-to-face visits with applicants and the ability to work independently, supported by regular supervision and check-ins. Skills Registered with Social Care Wales Experience in fostering and kinship assessments Competency in completing Form F and Connected Person's Assessments Ability to work under own initiative Strong presentation skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
