In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of our digital products, from inception to decommissioning. Working alongside experienced product managers, you'll develop a holistic understanding of the technology, data, and user needs required to deliver exceptional digital products that create value for our business and customers.
Key job responsibilities
* Engaging with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to develop a compelling vision and strategy for the product, and effectively communicating these in the short and long‑term
* Prioritising the delivery of value to users while balancing competing priorities and constraints
* Representing user needs throughout the product lifecycle, supporting a multi‑disciplinary team to bring the product to life
* Developing and prioritising the product backlog, creating user stories, and making data‑driven decisions
* Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, adapting your communication style as appropriate
* Developing an in‑depth understanding of user needs and championing these throughout the product's delivery
* Encouraging user adoption and engagement through various communication channels
* Setting measurable goals for the product and reporting on progress against key metrics
* Supporting the vision, roadmaps, and delivery of other products within the portfolio
* Actively participating in product management communities, sharing learning and celebrating the successes of others
* Continuously seeking feedback and using it to drive future product improvements
As a Digital Product Manager Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of digital products. During the apprenticeship you will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills while working toward the Level 4 apprenticeship standard, Digital Product Manager. As a working student, you will focus on completing your studies in your 20 % off‑the‑job time while developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for successful graduation.
Training may involve occasional travel to a training centre. The apprenticeship spans 24 months, beginning in July, and combines classroom/virtual training, on‑the‑job training at the Amazon base location, online learning, and mentoring from experienced team members.
Basic Qualifications
* Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026)
* Have the right to live and work in England (visa status permitting legal work and residence for the duration of the programme)
* Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years; be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
* Not be registered to study on a UK government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later
* Have at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4‑9 (A‑C) or above, including Maths and English
* Have a Level 3 qualification (Apprenticeship, A‑Level, BTEC, etc.)
* If qualifications were earned outside the UK, a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC is required
* Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility; offers are subject to funding approval
* Position is a 24‑month fixed‑term contract; you must not already have a qualification at the same or higher level for this apprenticeship
* Assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the occupation
