Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Lighting Designer, we'll count on you to:
1. Work under the guidance of a more-senior designer, and work with architectural project teams on all aspects of the art, science and business of lighting design
2. Take responsibility for project lighting documentation, CAD/model production, presentation material and renderings, lighting calculations, energy and economic calculations, and building certification compliance credits.
3. Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
4. Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering specialising in Lighting Design or closely related field
5. Strong computer skills with core competencies using AGI32, eLumtools, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
6. Strong verbal communication skills
7. Excellent organisation and time management skills
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
9. Able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks
10. Effective working individually and within team environments
11. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications
12. Minimum 4yrs years experience with a lighting design, architectural/engineering, or engineering consulting firm.
13. Experience with Healthcare, Science and Technology, Federal, or Entertainment facilities preferred.
14. SketchUp, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Rhino, Grassh
