Experienced MET Technician, required for our clients Accident Repair Centre in Southampton, Hampshire.
Our client is a Multi-Site Dealership group with a larger presence within Hampshire and the Southwest covering over 50 sites and over 20 well established automotive brands, ranging from the strong volume performers to Prestige, Niche & High-End Vehicle, they undertake a variety of repairs, such as diamond cut and alloy wheel refurbishment, smart repairs, paint spraying and panel beating services.

As a Vehicle MET Technician, you will be responsible for Stripping, preparing vehicles for paint and panel work, and re-fitting vehicle parts & components to a high standard, ensuring that all work is completed within the specified timeframe. You will be working alongside other experienced professionals, and therefore, the ideal MET Technician must be a team player and able to work efficiently and effectively.

Duties of a Vehicle MET Technician with our client:
16. Dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles
17. Repair and replace the panels of accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers specifications aiming to go above and beyond for customers at all times.
18. Work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair
19. Be capable of working under your own initiative as well as being flexible according to the needs of your team
What our client expects of their Vehicle MET Technician:
20. Proven experience in vehicle MET, Stripping & Fitting
21. ATA, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications are highly advantageous
22. Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
23. Ability to work as part of a team.
24. Full UK driving license.
25. Excellent communication skills.
26. Ability to work to high standards.
27. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
