Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Cwmbran, Wales

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Cwmbran, Wales for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full or part time basis. The full time hours will be 40 hours per week over 4 days with 1 in 4 Saturdays. The part time hours will be 20 hours per week over 2 days with 1 in 8 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
11. The role involves a mixture of surgery and consultations
12. Working alongside a team of 4 vets, 6 nurses and reception team
13. The role offers the Vet the opportunity to focus on areas of special interest
14. The role offers flexible working pattern and shifts to suit a good work-life balance, e.g. to work around school pick up
15. They are in a position to offer full time, part time or flexi time hours that suit
16. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
17. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

Package
31. Salary: Up to £65, pro rata, commensurate to experience
32. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
33. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 5 days paid
