About Us

GasWise Plumbing & Heating Services (UK) Ltd is a trusted and growing provider of commercial and domestic plumbing, heating, and drainage services. We work with a wide variety of commercial clients including FM companies, managing agents, landlords, hotels, schools, care homes, and industrial facilities across Banbury and surrounding areas.

We are now looking for a proactive, confident, and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help drive commercial growth and expand our client base.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and introducing new commercial clients to GasWise. This role combines office-based outreach with occasional field visits, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and generating new opportunities.

Your responsibility is purely focused on generating qualified commercial conversions with some account management responsibilities for the accounts you develop.

There is also the option for the role to progress to a permanent position after the 6-month fixed-term period.

A term-time working option is available.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and target new commercial prospects in and around Banbury

Conduct outreach by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person visits

Maintain accurate lead tracking and activity logs

Attend office meetings and introductory site visits

Build strong, professional relationships with commercial decision-makers

Represent GasWise with professionalism and integrity

Person Specification

We're looking for someone who:

* Has experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition
* Ideally has experience within trades, FM, building services, or service industries (not essential)
* Is confident, proactive, and self-motivated
* Communicates clearly and builds rapport easily
* Is organised and able to manage their own time
* Is comfortable with both office and field-based engagement
* Has a professional and customer-focused approach

Salary & Benefits

* Base Salary circa £30,000
* This role includes an attractive, performance-based commission structure that rewards strong lead generation and successful commercial introductions.
