As part of the Arco Family, you’ll be joining a team renowned for being the UK’s leading independent supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Working at Height and in Confined Spaces. Our mobile-based inspectors play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the equipment we provide to our customers. We’re seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for safety, and a drive to grow in this rewarding field.
Key responsibilities include:
* Inspecting and servicing working at height Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lifting accessories (LOLER), in line with manufacturers' guidelines and relevant legislation.
* Examination of lifting accessories in line with manufacturers' guidelines and relevant legislation.
* Portable appliance testing.
* Working remotely on client sites and at Safety Services offices.
* Assisting with in-house servicing.
* Completing all work with accuracy and attention to detail, as this is safety-critical equipment. The administration process must also be completed in accordance with our internal standards framework.

The ideal Health and Safety Equipment Inspector will have:
* A full and valid UK Driving license with the ability to travel frequently.
* Competency in using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
* A general interest in health and safety, with a willingness to build a career in this sector.
* A ‘safety first’ mentality, demonstrating a continuous focus on safety.
* An excellent eye for detail.
* The ability to learn and follow processes thoroughly.
* The ability to prioritize workload effectively.
* Flexibility and willingness to support team members as required.
