Vacancies have arisen for back shift Facilities Assistants within the authority’s Clydebank area. Location preference will be discussed at interview.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Facilities Management Services within the premises. Duties include staff supervision, key holding, cleaning, food handling, and other responsibilities as detailed in the job profile. Flexibility is required to handle a variety of tasks as needed.
The post holder must adhere to Food Safety Systems of Work and Health and Safety legislations. Previous experience in this line of work would be advantageous.
The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020. Membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here.
Preferred applicants will need to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer is made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
