Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils are seeking a Procurement Business Partner to join our team in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will earn a salary of £43,693 - £50,788 per annum (pro rata for part-time).

This role provides an exciting opportunity to support various service areas within the councils. You will deliver expert commercial advice to ensure:
1. Development of effective procurement strategies
2. Execution of compliant procurements
3. Procurements align with the councils' Standing Orders, legislation, and sustainable procurement practices
About You
To be successful, you will need to:
1. Demonstrate experience in delivering a range of procurement solutions with multiple stakeholders
2. Have a strong work ethic
3. Possess excellent communication and report-writing skills
4. Be able to challenge effectively
5. Work well independently, as part of a team, and lead a team
