Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

About the Company
Our client is a respected environmental consultancy with nearly two decades of experience delivering high-impact projects across renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, and residential development. With offices in Perth and flexible working options including Edinburgh, they foster a collaborative, curious, and supportive culture. You’ll join a growing GIS team and work alongside an experienced Analyst on diverse projects across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting planning and consenting teams with spatial analysis and mapping
* Interpreting and visualising multi-source data to produce clear, actionable outputs
* Using GIS tools for data management and processing
* Taking ownership of tasks while contributing to collaborative project delivery
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in GIS or related field (MSc a plus, not essential)
* Strong grasp of GIS principles and practical experience in data editing, analysis, and visualisation
* Detail-oriented with excellent time management
* Confident communicator and collaborative problem-solver
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
* Experience in consultancy or client-facing roles
* Familiarity with mobile data collection tools like QField
* Knowledge of ArcGIS products
* Experience with environmental, planning, or ecological datasets
