The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to provide a welcoming and supportive reception to visitors and to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school.

This post is 11 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time, plus non-pupil days and 1 weeks during school closure periods)

Please note that we reserve the right to close this advert early should we receive an overwhelming response.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

* Assist with all enquiries through Reception, telephone, voicemail and email.
* Safeguard the entrance to the school through the management of the gate and the greeting and enquiries in reception.
* Ensure the visitors to site sheet is followed when granting unsupervised access to students
* Take attendance calls and update attendance marks, as appropriate as and when necessary. Issue note to be delivered by duty student if student needs to leave during the day

We're looking for you if you have:

* Experience of administrative work in a busy office environment
* Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
* Excellent reading and writing skills
* Commitment to the safeguarding of children and following relevant policies.
