Technical Business Analyst – AXIOM
Inside IR35 – Hybrid 3 days per week onsite
Our client, a global bank have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join on an initial contract until the end of 2026 with a view to extending. In this role you will:
* Work in the International Controllers change management team on a specific timebound project, assisting with the development of key APAC regulatory reporting requirements primarily. Focus will be on the deliveries required for a Reporting Project as well as other internal APAC initiatives as well as the build out of the strategic Axiom infrastructure that feeds these requirements.
* Assist in writing user stories to reflect the business requirements of various regulatory reporting modules and liaise with technology team members through Agile scrum methodology to ensure requirements are understood.
* Ensure, where possible, that operational risk through manual processes is minimised, leverage digital tools (Alteryx, Power BI etc) to develop automated solutions where technology solutions are unavailable.
* Analyse regulatory guidance and provide SME insights when forming requirements for reporting modules, challenging existing approaches in a thoughtful manner where appropriate to ensure full regulatory compliance.
* Assist in documenting processes and decisions as part of project delivery to reporting teams.
Must‑Have skills/experience
* AxiomSL Business Analyst or Developer experience
* Regulatory reporting experience; Data strategy, Financial, Capital and/or Liquidity reporting
* Good problem‑solving skills, independent thinker and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable skills/experience
* Process optimisation, transformation and change management experience
* Digitalisation, AI Adoption experience
* Project management, time management, and organisational skills
* How many years of experience are you looking for?
* Minimally 5‑10 years of relevant experience (Axiom, reg reporting, system implementation)
* Education/Certification:Certified Accountant preferred
