Overview
A leading London-based firm with a strong presence in the Music and Entertainment industry is seeking an experienced Senior Property Solicitor to head up its Property team. Acting for a high-profile client base, the firm offers a steady flow of high-quality work alongside the opportunity to further grow the department.
This role will suit a commercially minded individual who can both manage existing instructions and contribute to business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Property team, supervising one junior member
* Manage a caseload of predominantly residential matters, including sales and purchases (leasehold/freehold), transfers of equity, remortgages, and lease extensions
* Handle a smaller volume of commercial property work
* Oversee lender panel memberships and relevant accreditations
* Deal with probate-related property transactions, liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and the Private Client team
* Draft and advise on Declarations of Trust
* Build and maintain client relationships, including generating new business
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Solicitor ideally with 8+ years’ PQE in property law
* Strong residential property experience, with some commercial exposure
* Experience supervising or leading junior staff
* Familiar with lender panel processes and compliance requirements
* Commercially aware with the ability to generate work; a following is advantageous
* Confident working with high-profile clients
