Salary: £38,000 - 43,000 per year Requirements:
* We are looking for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in IT support, applications, and ERP IT support roles. While experience supporting MAM Autoparts is preferred, it is not essential. Familiarity with other ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or HANA is mandatory. A solid background in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to business applications or ERP systems is also essential.
* Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of how data flows between systems and be comfortable with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Experience with scripting in PowerShell or SQL would be a plus.
* We value excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users at all levels. A strong sense of service and ownership is crucial, as is the ability to simplify complex technical problems and explain solutions clearly. Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
* As a member of our IT Service Desk team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day support and maintenance of the MAM Autoparts ERP system. Your tasks will include investigating and resolving ERP-related issues, managing system updates with third-party vendors, translating business needs into process improvements, and collaborating with various teams such as Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and Warehouse.
* You will also support other key business systems and applications, assist with their integration, maintain clear documentation, and act as a key escalation point for complex application incidents. Providing effective user support, building strong working relationships, assisting with user onboarding and training, and delivering support for Microsoft 365 tools will be core to your responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to IT projects involving new software or upgrades and carry out root cause analysis on recurring issues to recommend long-term fixes.
