Society is in your hands, what are you waiting for?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Ecologist to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in ecological consultancy. This role is hybrid, typically requiring at least 3 days in the office or on-site.
What does the role involve?
You will undertake ecological surveys (habitat surveys and surveys for legally protected species), contribute to report writing, liaise with clients, contractors, and the public to support land use and ecology points for BREEM assessments, produce habitat and survey plans, and perform Ecological Clerk of Works duties.
What do you need?
You should hold a degree in Ecology or a related subject. Candidates may be recent graduates or have some experience. The position can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with travel to sites and offices, so a full driver’s license is required. Work outside usual hours may be necessary, such as night surveys for bats or early/late site visits for reptiles.
What’s in it for you?
Experience an inclusive, friendly, and flexible work environment where colleagues are encouraged to develop. Contribute to societal transformation as a trusted consultant to our clients.
If you believe you have the required skills and are eager to join a company offering career progression, we’d love to hear from you.
