Job Description:
A leading financial services firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join their Asset-Backed Finance Valuations Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in performing business valuations, valuations of illiquid and complex securities, and/or structuring, trading, or whole loan modelling. This role requires a deep understanding of collateral risk characteristics, deal structures, terms, and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct business valuations and valuations of illiquid and complex securities.
* Develop and implement valuation approaches for various forms of securities and unique instruments including equity and debt securities, loans, derivative instruments, structured products, and intangible assets.
* Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing analyses.
* Analyze companies critically to understand key business issues, including value drivers and investment risks.
* Utilise third-party systems such as Bloomberg and Intex to support valuation processes.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of five years' experience in business valuations, valuations of illiquid and complex securities, and/or structuring, trading, or whole loan modelling.
* Strong understanding of collateral risk characteristics, deal structures, terms, and conditions.
* Proficiency in designing financial models for various valuation analyses.
* Experience with third-party systems such as Bloomberg and Intex.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to critically analyze companies and understand key business issues, including value drivers and investment risks.
