ICTS UK Canine are recruiting for a committed, dedicated and experienced Operations Manager.
You will need to be flexible, experienced, detail orientated, adaptable, and conversant with the following accreditations:
National Canine Training Accreditation Scheme Private Security (NCTAS-P)
National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) Level 4 Explosives
Level 3 Drugs & Pyrotechnics
Level 2 Patrol Dogs
NPCC/ACPO
Place of Work - Our Training Centre is at Farndish, Northamptonshire with a mandatory requirement to travel Nationally, with the possibility of overnight stays.
Essential:
Proven experience of working with Drugs Detection Dogs.
Proven experience with General Purpose Patrol Dogs
The ability to work autonomously
Computer literate
Excellent communication skills
Initiative-taking
Full UK driving license
Background checks will be conducted to Counter Terrorism Checks (CTC) level
Right to work in the UK
5-year checkable history
Excellent ability to manage high profile clients and stakeholders.
Desirable :
Prior Police, Military or Government Agency dog training qualification.
SIA Licence
Role profile:
Day to day management of both Drugs Detection, and General Purpose Patrol Dog dept.
Rostering in conjunction with client contracts and in full compliance of Client contractual KPI's
Communicate and liaise with other team members, stakeholders, and outside agencies on a regular basis, providing regular and accurate updates on the team's performance
Ensure the health and welfare of dogs is always maintained as a priority.
Maintain and ensure safe handling of training samples, prevent cross contamination, and ensure longevity of samples through correct storage and handling techniques
Drive company vehicles as required. (Company vehicle and fuel card supplied)
Comply with company processes, policies and procedures
Conduct risk assessments as required.
Maintain vehicle, equipment, and project equipment
